In the era where the position of a doctor meant power,wealth and respect,came Trenton Hospital's Dr. Henry Cotton , an ambitious physician who was determined to revolutionise  the world of psychiatry with his ‘contemporary' theory of 'focal sepsis’. Cotton was focused on curing the most vulnerable- the mentally ill. However his idea of helping slowly transformed into unnecessarily operating on patients, causing harm and death to hundreds.
